The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Under Sea Adventure
This ride just recently opened in Disney California Adventure in early June of this year.. Today was the first time I got to ride it! The wait time was about a half hour, but it went by really quick. They ride is one of those constantly moving rides like how The Haunted Mansion is, you just jump in your seashell while it's moving.
The ride takes you through different scenes throughout the movie that we all know and love! The thing that I love the most not only about this ride just about Disneyland in general, is that is pretty much my whole childhood right there! Every Christmas my parents would buy me and my sisters whatever Disney movie that had recently came out during that time from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, etc. The newest Disney movie to VHS was the anticipated present that year for Christmas.
Me and my sisters would always debate over which Disney princess we were. My little sister Lindy got the claim on being Ariel... My older sister Stephanie claimed Princess Jasmine and I was Belle :) But these rides are very endearing to my heart because they do remind me of my childhood and playing Disney Princesses with my sisters the days we weren't playing cowboys well ummmm girls and indians... or cops and robbers... or hide and seek.
This new ride is soo cute though!! I loved it!! The video that I took isn't the greatest quality so please forgive me.. I took it from my Droid, the room was dark, and the microphone is well ummm ehh.... But you can kinda hear and see one of my most favorite scenes/songs in a Disney movie, those that have seen the movie you know you will want to sing along to it.. Sha la la la la la.. Thats right! The "Kiss the Girl" scene..Love that song... Enjoy the video.. Sorry for the quality!
