Woodland Park sounds like a great escape from the city. All your views are spectacular.

Hi Sondra. This brings back some nice memories while I was stationed at Fort Carson years ago. Very Nice photo of the beautiful, blue and clear skies of Woodland Park.

What a great way to spend the day Sondra and what a view - beautiful. I love a one-day vacation when you don't have a lot of time but, want to get out into nature and Woodland park is the perfect place to do this! Have a wonderful time!

Our clouds here always seem to be all or none, rarely beautiful wispy ones like that.

Sondra, that is an unusual cloud formation.

Even more beautiful than the skies in Colorado are the mountains full of trees. We have mountains here, but they are full of rocks and Southern California brush.

I just read Richard Yate's piece on you and it made me miss you, girlfriend!  How ARE you??  Are your animals all healthy and not getting lost? Are you getting enough sleep?  How's real estate doing for you? I feel like it's been FOREVER....much doings this summer, huh?

 Richard sent me as well...that Richard! I also have subscribed to your blog per his suggestion. I'm a huge fan of Colorado, if you could import an ocean, I'd be there. I have a daughter going to school in Denver, so I do come visit and enjoy Boulder hiking and such...haven't made it to Colorado Springs, but you're making the trip mighty tempting.
