"Life was meant to be lived and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life." --- Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962), American first lady, lecturer, humanitarian
Having a hard time getting started this Monday morning? At least you have a choice in how you start your day.
Do you feel like you have a heavy load to carry? Think again, it could be worse.
Are you easily annoyed by the little things in life that don't seem to matter - what if only the little things in life really mattered?
Can't find something to wear today? What if you had to wear the same thing every day?
Having a conflict? Do you know you can call a ceasefire any time you want?
What if, instead of watching television today, you spent the day watching and looking out for the ones you love?
Life should never be taken for granted. If you were born in the U.S.A., freedom is your inheritance - cherish it, rediscover it, embrace it and never forget that freedom comes with a price to pay but joys of having it are rewarding.
Have a great day today and remember, everything you do, your words and actions cause ripples of effect in your world. Make sure that whatever you do has a postive impact on others. Every action you take creates a form of energy and once you put it out there, it causes a rippling effect that naturally gets bigger and bigger. Once your energy is set in motion, you can't stop it... Think about your actions.
Everyone has responsibility, even those who are not in uniform. When I go about my business today, I will be mindful of my actions, my thoughts and my deeds. When I see an American flag in public buildings, or flying underneath the blue sky today, I will think about where my freedom came from and why freedom matters. I will think about the red, white and blue and what it means to different people. To some, it means they will have a job, a family, making a down payment on a house, taking a vacation; for some, it will remind them of the sacrifices it took to gain freedom. Freedom should never be taken for granted.
Hurray for the Red, White and Blue and for our American Soldiers. God Bless them, one and all.
