Blagojevich Convicted - Chicago Home and D.C. Condo to Go Up For Sale
Former Illinois governor and convicted felon Rod Blagojevich on Friday was ordered by a judge to use his Chicago home and his condo in Washington, D.C. as collateral after a $450,000 bond was set.
Even though the Chicago property is not listed for sale, Blagojevich's lawyers indicated it is. It probably is a pocket listing, which means it is closed to the public and only viewable by serious well-qualified buyers. Zillow Zestimates® value Blagojevich's Chicago home at $834,700, and according to Zillow's Price History chart, Blagojevich bought the home in 1999 for $505,000. And according to MyFoxlisting Chicago, the asking price will be around $900,000.
