Today I was showing homes to a couple of terrific young men who attend SIUE -- Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville -- in Edwardsville, Illinois.
We were on the hunt because the parents of one of the students were planning to do exactly what I've been suggesting to many families -- purchase a home in Edwardsville to take care of their housing needs for the years that their son will be at school.
We found a property that fit all of their needs and as we were locking the door and heading toward the car the student made a comment about how impressed he was that I had offered to help him.
When I was still at home back in Northern Illinois, I called a bunch of agents who had houses that looked good online, he said.
When I'd ask about a particular house, they'd just tell me it was sold already or they were closing on it next week. Then they'd hang up! All I'd hear, he said, was a CLICK!
This young man had initially called me about a house that wasn't going to work for his needs. But instead of hanging up, I engaged him in a conversation about exactly what he was looking for.
Then I let him know that I could find other properties that had many of the things that would make his coming years in Edwardsville much more pleasant -- at least from a housing perspective (I can't help with Calc 2 or Physics).
When you call me at 618-791-8007 or email Nancy@GoshenRealtyGroup.com to talk about real estate, we can have a genuine conversation about what you're really looking for. If it exists in this market, I can help you find it and then I can make it as easy as possible for you to acquire that property at the best possible price in today's market.
You won't hear a CLICK from my phone until we've figured out how I can help you and how to take the next step to get you into a new home.
