Beautiful wild flowers. Interesting to think you get both snow and wildflowers on the same hike.
What great pictures! How great is it to live in an area where you can see those types of things!
Okay, this is really weird. I grew up in Arlington and just returned from a visit to my Mom. And now, the first two comments on my Colorado hike are from Virginia!!!!
Will, I am just now getting back into hiking after having neck surgery 3 months ago...that is why I was tentative about falling down. Get out and do it!
Cindy, yes that is Colorado....as you climb into elevations 11,000-12,000+ you can encounter sunny areas and then snowfields that are determined not to melt. Lots of fun and variety!
lovely area, I have a best friend that lives in Colorado, when we visit her next, we will dif be hiking! Its a great way to get exercise and see all the wonderful things around us!
Good Luck!
Hi Emelyn, Totally gorgeous and that hike would have had me stopping for photos and to take a and rest and breath too! :-)
Sylvie, there is so much to see. You won"t be disappointed.
Hi Bill, you can relate
Pictures are great. Thanks for sharing. Would love to get into more hiking.
