Habitat for Humanity with Jimmy Carter
Habitat for Humanity is coming to our town and Jimmy Carter will be helping out! They just notified me that they need volunteers from October 28 - November 2.They are looking for Companies to help out for a full week. What does this mean?
Most companies are looking to donate all there employees on one day. Habitat would prefer if the companies volunteer people for the full week. However, because they know that it is hard to take off that much time, they are looking at having the week split in half. So, for example: I would volunteer Monday and Tuesday, then someone would come to replace me Wednesday, Thursday, Friday... or visa versa.
This is a great opportunity for networking as they said there are over 1000 people volunteering. Please let me know if you are interested by sending me an email at donl.owen@gmail.com
