How do I convince them?

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with First Impression Photography & Virtual Tours

That's my question.

How do I convince the realtors in my area that a slow market is when they really need to start marketing. How do I convince them that a virtual tour and photography is less than 1 weeks advertising in the local paper? How do I convince them that quality is important? How do I convince them that their prospective buyers AND sellers are looking on the internet more than ever before? How do I convince them that this will benefit them? How? How do I do that?

How do I convince them to call me before they go and take their own photos? How do I convince them *politely* that the point and shoot camera they use just doesn't have the quality or wide angle ability that mine does?

I'm reliable, I'm professional, I'm local, I'm here for you and I'm ready to impress!

Because, you only get one chance to make a great First Impression...

Hi Linda:

The only time Realtors are convinced and start answering some of those questions is when it hits them in the pocket in terms of commission.  I have said as many of my colleagues have as well, in an average market you advertise, in a slow market you must.  Keep hammering that home.

Linda, what about a flyer showing everything you can do for them for the same price as a newspaper ad?  Of course, you want to push them to your website for examples of your work.  Most of us are not very good photographers.  If you have a friend who is a listing agent, perhaps show their photos vs yours of the same house - I bet there is a world of difference!

Interest note...I have already done a comparison between photos. But, I haven't done anything with them. I'm hesitant to ask the realtor of that property if I can use them as examples. I don't want to embarass him. Here it is though... His are on the left, mine on the right,

Does he know that you took the follow up pictures?  I wouldn't be opposed to a photographer using my photos as a "Before" shot in their advertising, if I got to use the "Afters" in mine :)

I'm shaking my head too...I'd love to have professional photos of my listings, especially FREE!  You've got me stumped here.  Thanks for the association, I appreciate it.
