Moving Help When Pizza & Beer Isn't Enough

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Andrew Realty Serfvices

Moving labor when selling your homeOne of my very tech savvy clients just gave me a good tip that I wanted to share. He was using storage containers for his move in order to save money but didn’t want to have to load the containers himself. (There comes a point in all of our lives when friends will no longer come help us move for pizza and beer!) He used www.MovingHelp.com. This site lists moving labor and lets you read reviews from customers who have used the movers before. Your credit card is charged by MovingHelp.com and they’ll give you a payment code to give to your movers. You only give the payment code to the workers when you’re satisfied with the job.

This is an interesting concept.  It makes me wonder how many people are dissatisfied with the service from their movers and what if any damage is not covered by their insurance?

Great resource and one that many consumers wish they had used when they are surprised with "additional charges" at the end of their move.
