Red Pump Construction is almost complete, what can you expect as parents for the new school year?
All the common areas are very spacious with the kindergarten wing featuring Blue carpet everywhere including Blue walls with alphabet letters on the floor. The purple wing is for primary students in first through third grade. The green wing is for intermediate students in fourth and fifth grade. It will feature separate locker areas in every class. An open lobby area, a Large Gymnasium for activities. After spending $31.5 Million, every detail was considered when constructing this beautiful school.
Other features include three large playgrounds, three mini pools for environmental science lessons, New High Tech Smart Boards for the Teachers and Students in every classroom, four student computers in every class, tiered seating computer lab, television studio, media center, large music and art rooms with a kiln. The school is located off Vale and Red Pump roads just North of Bel Air, Maryland in Harford County. The building is scheduled to open next month for the 2011-12 school year.
