It’s summer and everyone is looking for something to do! Here are a couple of free activities on Anna Maria Island that’ll make sure you have a swinging summer! Wednesdays– Every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. @ Katie Pierola Park (Bradenton Beach) Sunset Picnic, with free entertainment by Island singer, Mike Sales. Bring a chair or blanket and some dinner and enjoy! Friday– Every Friday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. @ Beach Cafe, Beach Party and Drum Circle–bring a percussion instrument, or there may be some to share. These events happen every week and are a great way to acclimate yourself to the "Island" lifestyle if you're just visiting, thinking of moving here, or have been here for 30 some odd years, like me!
