Read Psalm 78
The Lord gave them bread from heaven...They tempted God in their hearts by demanding the food they craved. Yes, they spoke against God, saying "Can God spread a table in the desert?"
Lord Jesus, who are we that you should come to us in such a humble way? I worship you, Lord, for your gift of divine life!
This is a wonderful Psalm, Charles. "A stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not prepare its heart and whose spirit was not faithful to God." v.8 I guess things haven't changed much over 1000s of years! God's patience is amazing. I'm so thankful He is slow to anger...

May we never be guilty of complaining against God (It is such a huge part of our human sinful nature), but may we ask God to forgive us, and show us His way.
