Beautiful flowers. I live in Southern California and everything seems to die here as it is so hot all the time. Enjoy the beautiful plant.

Kristin,

It is really hot here in the Sacramento area as well.  These are native to Australia (if I remember right) so do well in the heat!  Thanks so much for your comment!

Hi Marchel,

We have 3 of them and get lots of fruit on them but they usually fall off before they're ripe.  I planted them for their beautiful leaf color and flowers.

Happy Wednesday!

That's it, I need a new camera. Please tell me you have a fabulous point and shoot?  I have two of these trees. Only one blooms though.  We've had ours ripen, and they are delicious. Problem is the squirrels like them and we have to be quick to get any.

Beautiful blossom DeeDee, are these in your yard? What kind of fruit does a pineapple guava plant produce? Guava? Don't think I've ever seen one on a plant.
