If you happen to be in Madison or Huntsville Alabama searching for your new home, Atlanta Bread Company is a place you should stop for a bite to eat.  Atlanta Bread is a national chain and we are lucky enough to have one of the franchise's here in Huntsville Alabama.  And I'm really lucky to have this Atlanta Bread company located about three minutes from my office here in the Village of Providence.  I've stopped in a few times and each time the service has been friendly and quick which is a breath of fresh air with so many "fast" food restaurants around that really need to look up the definition of "fast" and "service" as well.

There's more on the menu at Atlanta Bread than bread.  The menu offers sandwiches (I'll be getting the NY Hot Pastrami next), paninis (looking forward to a Cubano), salads, soups and chili.  Their "Half and Half" is a great selection for lunch offering your choice of any two of; soup, half salad or half sandwich.  Atlanta Bread company also has a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches.

Anytime is great to stop in and have one of Atlanta Bread companies specialty drinks such as Cappuccino, Cafe Mocha, Espresso or try one of their blended coffee drinks...I'll have to try one of the Kona Mocha's.  Smoothies are also available...a Pineapple-Mango smoothie maybe???  Desserts, bagels and a kids' menu...the list goes on  and...hey...it smells good in there.  Give it a try and let me know what you think and I'm pretty sure you'll go back again and again.  You might want to take up cross-country skiing to help work off a few of the extra pounds...I suggest starting with a small country.

Bread is as old as the Bible and one of mans staples. I had a place nearby that baked loaves fresh and hot right out of the oven...good news: There is nothing like it except manna. Bad News: you can't stop eating and butter beckons you non-stop followed by your favorite liquid. Good one Nick and thank you

Karen-thank you and this remindes me that I've gotta get back there for the Hot Pastrami.

Marie-no they don't, but they all know my name and thanks.  By the way, I might have a listing coming up that will work for what we talked about...I'll let you know.

What a great localism post Nick!  First, I must say... I LOVE bread.  I've always thought about opening a bread/bakery/bagel place in my quaint little town.  Who knows, I might still do it!  And when you combine a tasty treat with a cup of yummy gourmet coffee... you got me ;-)  Enjoy the weekend my friend!

Rebecca-there's something really special about bread...love it.

Mel-actually because of my families' restaurant background and the recipes I have...I've considered opening a Chicago style Pizza/Italian Beef/Sausage/Hot Dog Joint here in Alabama.  I think it would go over very well.  I wouldn't work it, but would have family take care of that for me.
