Rosendale Street Festival
There are so many events in Ulster County in the summer, it can be overwhelming to try and pick and choose events to go to. One event that is a must is coming up on July 23rd; it is the Rosendale Street Festival!
It is only 80 minutes from New York City. And, it is one of the finniest and best events in Ulster! Another bonus is admission is completely free. But, if you donate twenty dollars or more you will get a free t-shirt! All the proceeds got o help local community organizations! The parking is also free, but plan it out, the festival get every crowded. Additionally there is some construction going on in the area, so that will make parking difficult it really is a win-win, you get to have tons of fun and you get to help the community out!
There are several forms of entertainment, which is family friendly and fun! Every day there will be at least four bands performing at any given time! So if you like music, and want to see the future star in the music industry, make your way to the Rosendale Street festival! One of the sponsors for the music portion of the festival is 100.1 Radio Woodstock.
Like any event in Ulster County, if you go for nothing else you will go for the food. While fair food may not be the friendliest to the waist line, it is delicious, filling and cheap! So bring some cash in your wallet and be prepared to enjoy some delicious food and drink!
