Vacation Photos: What Kind Do You Take? NOT A TUTORIAL!
Ah, vacation photos! With the advent of the digital camera, the sky's the limit in terms of how many pictures we can take, as well as their quality and how we share them. Sadly (or perhaps not!), gone are the days of Dad's slide show carousels!
This is NOT a tutorial, by any means - I would not presume. Just some examples of the types of photos I like to take. I don't even try for postcard-type shots; I've never been a good photographer. I just try to capture moments or things that make me laugh or are somehow unique to the environment I find myself in.
Here are some moments from a girls' trip to London:

If I had a special hoof, I'd point it too!

The construction cranes in the far distance reminded me of "War of the Worlds". Creepy.

Ad on the Underground reads: "5 in 10 male guinea pigs thought their wives were at the gym."
But no, Mrs. GP is at the shoe store...
Can't remember what the ad was for!

Here's another:
"7 in 10 guinea pig wives said new clothes are the most exciting thing they've had in the bedroom for years."
Ouch!
I think the ads were for MasterCard.

Just love the color of this door against the brick facade!

The Humps sign is too funny - and reminds me of an old Thurber "New Yorker" cartoon.

Entrance to the public loo in Brighton. The "monograms" tell you what you can do in there.
You can't make this up, folks!

Last, but not least, this is for all you "Absolutely Fabulous" fans out there:
A shot of Patsy Stone's home - the one we never saw! It's an "Odd Bins" - sort of a liquor store. The sign is behind the "Bureau de Change" sign.
I was so excited to find this!
Well, I hope you enjoyed some of my memories of London.
