Here are some tips for hanging art and other objects on your walls:
1. Art hangers are the best choice for hanging heavy or over-sized items. The package should tell you the weight they can support - from 5 lbs up to 250+ lbs. When in doubt, use the bigger hanger! Always err on the side of caution, especially with glass art or mirrors.2. If you are hanging a series of paintings or grouping of art, start from the center and work your way out. Lay out all the pieces on the floor to make sure you are happy with the layout before you commit it to the wall!
3. Make sure you don't hang your art too high - the general rule is that the center of your painting or mirror should be at eye-level.
4. When hanging art over a sofa or table, keep the art relatively close to the item to tie them all together and give good visual flow.
