Nashua, NH is so close to my office - though it's a different state altogether, we do shop in Salem/Nashua on Thanksgiving nights or early mornings.

And I knew Nashua has made to top 100 list few times in last decade - here's once again...

 Nashua town hallRelocate America named Nashua, New Hampshire as one of the top 100 best places to live in America.

Nashua, NH is included in the 14th annual list of America's "Top 100 Places to Live". Each year RelocateAmerica researches, identifies and shares the best places to live in America. At the beginning of each year, Relocate America begins the process of compliling the list based on site nominations and issues most important to relocating consumers and homeowners for the year ahead.

In 2011, the team considered the best communities that are well positioned for economic recovery, already experiencing strong economic recovery or have proven overall economic stability. Important factors inlcud employment, education, community leadership and overall quality of life.

In addition, Nashua, New Hampshire is the only city to get the No. 1 ranking as the BEST PLACE to LIVE IN AMERICA in Surveys by Money Magazine twice (1987 & 1997). 

The Nashua-Manchester corridor was ranked # 9 by Forbes in April 2010.  It was noted that the Nashua-Manchester corridor had low crime rates and low unemployment rates.

     The original name for Nashua was Dunstable.  In 1836, the town adopted the Nashua River's Name "Nashaway" which means "a beautiful river with a pebbly bottom" and "land between two rivers."

     Nashua combines an excellent quality of life with proximity to the New Hampshire seacoast, the White Mountains and Boston, MA.

    Nashua has a small town feel with a large town amenities.  According to the 2006 census, the estimate for Nashua was 87,157 residents.  This makes Nashua the second largest city in New Hampshire

    Nashua has many parks which add to its beauty.  One of my favorites is Greeley Park

           There is something for everyone in the Gate City ...  A symphony, theater and entertainment.  Catch a baseball game at beautiful Holman stadium.

    Nashua also has a small airport, Biore Field and there is bus transportation to the Boston area.  Nashua also boasts a daily award-winning newspaper, the Telegraph.

    There are both public and private schools in Nashua from pre-school through college.

    The downtown area has many wonderful restaurants, botiques and entertainment as well as a vibrant business community.  Recently, downtown Nashua began offering free wifi.  downtown Nashua

     Nashua is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and the Nashua Green Team was created after the passage of Ordinance 06-09.  The Gate City has made it a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase energy efficiency, decrease air pollution, and reduce energy expenditures.

   Many styles of homes and housing options are available to choose from ...  single family homes, condominiums, multi-family and rentals.
