Neighborhood Specialists - The New Way to Prospect
Remember the days when everybody was the 'Neighborhood Specialist'? Sometimes I'd run into 3, 4 or maybe 5 in one tiny little old neighborhood. I don't see these signs around town as much as I did 5 years or so ago. Today I ran into an interesting one in my neck of the woods so I thought I'd do a little checking into the new kid on the block.
Turns out he's a great agent with a strong background but he's never had a listing (that I can tell) in this particular area. Is he still a Neighborhood Specialist"? Why yes I believe he truly is knowledgeable. Why? Because I looked up his blog and he's been blogging for a long time about the area. He really does have a handle on the area and what's going on around town. So who's to say he's not a Neighborhood Specialist? In my mind he's earned his 'stripes' to become one. Good for him!

I've been writing about the area I live in for a couple of years. Today I talked with yet another new client looking to relocate to my neck of the woods. Why did she call me? Because she's been reading my blogs about Moon Valley - Phoenix Arizona for sometime now and she said she 'knows me' and appreciates my stories! Good for me - and good for her to find somebody who really knows this area - well, and lives here. She'll not only have a knowledgeable REALTOR working with her but she's got a built in new neighbor too!
Go ahead - start that neighborhood blogging project today! In time it will bring in business and new neighbors!
