Great wines at Grocery Outlet

Have you ever considered shopping for some great wines at Grocery Outlet?   You may be thinking "ewww, who would buy wines from a discount grocery store?"  Well I'm here to tell you that I've personally purchased some great wines at some incredible prices here at our local Medford Grocery Outlet location.  The prices I generally see run from $2.99 to a high of about $15.00.

Here's a video with Doug Due, director of the wine and beer purchasing department for Grocery Outlet.  He touches briefly how they are able to offer great wines at such low prices.

The next time you're considering purchasing some wine, I recommend taking a look at Grocery Outlet!

Cheers!

I guess it is better than a "Box-O-Wine"!

I have to admit to trying a few of the cheap ones out there that seem so common right now... I walk up to the register with a few bottles and when the are ringing them up "Oops, how did tha bottle get in there?.. Oh just ring it up any way..."

Some of the cheapies are good wednesday night wines... and half the fun of wine is finding one you like that you can afford at the same time!

Hey Robert, don't knock the box!  lol

We had some friends over recently who brought over a Red Door Pinot Gris that they bought at G.O.  We went the next day to buy several bottles as it was VERY GOOD...of course...they were out.  :-/  It is kind of like a scavenger hunt there.  Our local G.O is great in that if you buy something and don't like it, they will let you return it.  Have a great day!  Cheers!

They really do have great bargains throughout the entire store, Jim!  I'm sure you'll find something to put in the cart!  Happy shopping!

You guys are so lucky with the options you have ! In PA we are stuck with STATE STORES(State controlled and run). You can only buy alcohol at them.

Michael...even wine and beer?  WOW! That's strict.  We do have state run Liquor stores (for the hard stuff), but beer and wine is available in the grocery stores.  In California you can buy ALL alcoholic products at the grocery stores.
