Today I was honored to take part in one of Denise Lones' courses. I, unfortunately, had not sat under her instruction before.
What a refreshment she is! It is about time that someone out there is not afraid to stand up to the media and let them know that what they are doing is totally out of line.
As a realtor, it has become more and more difficult to counter balance the negativity that the media is dishing out to the general populaton.
Denise reinforced that Washington State is a great place for real estate - we have everything here that is needed and wanted for positive living and business. It is past time for us as realtors to contact our local media reporters and tell them that we want them to show us where they are getting their "so called" facts and make them show documentation to support it. We need to educate them and "encourage them" to print the truth or else... as someone said at the course - - stop advertising with them for a few weeks!
