Dancing in the Rain - No Umbrella Needed - Just Business Development Goals!

Just going down memory lane today and thinking about how quickly things change and continue to change. We started out about 4 years ago....with an intention to look into this "blogging" thing. Took us a few months to finally get around to it. We looked at some of our colleagues and their blogs and were still not quite sure what it was. It seemed vague on just what it was and how it was to be used.

Some of our friends were using it on a personal level and a few....just a couple actually, were using it to further their business and to promote their products. I began to get a glimmer.

I honestly don't remember how I found ActiveRain but I did. Researched it a bit and decided to give it a try...heck it was free. Well, that was lightly made decision that would impact the way I do business on a major level. Sometimes in life, you just do something and you do it just because you know (somehow) that you need to do it.

Some thousands of hours laster, I have a good understanding of SEO and using the blog to market and brand for my business. I could not be more pleased with how I market, sell and brand for my business. I get my listings sold and market locally, nationally and internationally. Can't beat that.

Sometimes in life that "knowing to do something when you don't know why" is just a plain old gift or blessing! Yep! The best thing that could have ever happend for me as a Realtor, marketing and selling real estate.

So many real estate professionals underestimate the power of blogging.  It's a great way to get the word out about your business and it's fun!
