Public Meeting – Parker Water & Sanitation wants to adopt Stonegate Village Metro District

This is to decide whether Stonegate should become adopted into the Parker Water and Sanitation District.

Parker Water and Sanitation is announcing a Public hearing to hear why the Stonegate Village Metropolitan District should NOT be adopted into the Parker Water and Sanitation District.

I urge all Stonegate residents to attend this meeting to find out exactly what is going on and voice your opinion if you have one. We all know about the recent misconduct and nepotism that was going on within the Parker Water and Sanitation District.

Parker Colorado Water and Sanitation District Wants to Raise your Rates AGAIN – They raised the rates 14% on water and 28% on Sewer.

Facts:

• Parker Water currently imposes 14.925 mills with NO MAXIMUM if Stonegate Village is adopted into the Parker Water and Sanitation District.

• Any person owning property inside the proposed area for inclusion may submit a request to the board of Directors of the Parker Water and Sanitation District (address above) that their property should not be included. This request must be submitted on or before Monday August 1, 2011.

• All requests not to be included shall be acted on by the board at the August 11, 2011.

If you live in Stonegate and feel as I do that there is no reason for this adoption then I highly suggest you attend the meeting and send in a formal letter with reasons not to be included in their adoption plan.
