It's not that I didn't want to use Docusign or was against electronic signatures. My former broker wouldn't allow us to use them, but they were thinking about it when we left. Our new broker had classes to explain how it worked, but it never meshed with our hectic schedule. Then the holidays...
A couple of weeks ago, we negotiated a contract that came to us signed electronically. Wow! The buyers are professionals who work at separate places and are very hard to get together during the week. Their agent's solution? Electronic signatures.
Frank and I loved it! Immediately we began thinking of ways we could use this wonderful new tool. Kind of reminds me of when we discovered e-fax. How did we ever live without it? I think Docusign is going to be another one of those tools that will be essential going forward.
This week, we have Sellers out of the country during a contract time period. What if we have to sign more docs? No problem! Docusign will be there to save the day if we need it.
No more garbled, shrunken contracts for us. No more lenders or title companies demanding a new signed copy because they can't read the contract.
Distance or unavailable Sellers and Buyers don't have to worry about downloading, printing, signing and uploading via fax or scan anymore. They just sign and send! A copy is emailed to all parties.
It is so simple - try it, you will love it!
