"Shift" by Gary Keller
I recently was sitting around at my house itching to fill my mind with knowledge and BAM! I looked at my book shelf and Shift was screaming at me. It was a gift from my Team Leader and he said "READ IT your life depends on it!"
I thought " Here we go another Real Estate Agents Bible that was a must read." I could not put it down! Shift by Gary Keller is a page turner. I was up until 3 AM reading it.
Some take aways are 1. Mindset. Make sure your mindset is right. If you do not have the proper mindset your done. 2. Watch your budget. Gary mentions how the good times cover up what is not working, but when the "Shift" happens it exposes it just make sure you confront it. 3. LEAD GENERATION to LEAD CONVERSION time block to lead generate and that can be phone calls, blogging, craigslist, open houses, networking etc. Set aside at LEAST 2 hours a day to lead generate. Also you MUST convert those Leads to appointments and in a Shifting market you will have to go on more appointments. 4. Master the moment in your market! Short Sales, REO's and Foreclosures. You have to know what is going on and how to tackle it.
I recomend that any Real Estate Pro read "Shift" by Gary Keller because it will help you take your business to the next level.
