Lakeshore dreams..

The saying that all real estate is local is a truism that survives even the harshest recession. As I update to a new website today, I also listed more lakeshore property, showed two cabins, and made appointments to show even more tomorrow. Life goes on,,, as much as some media outlets would have us imagine it does not!

Yes, the economy is hard right now for a huge amount of Americans, and yet, family time at the lake is still a bonding time that many families will strive for. When times are tough, memories become more important..and with prices down, I see more grandparents purchasing homes to host their extended familes to make those moments that will be cherished for a lifetime by so many.

I have shown cabins this week to parents with adult children, who will be sharing the expense, upkeep and laughter...and the brother and sister who want to buy side-by-side places if possible... Dreams are what we live for, and for many, life near the water is one of the biggest dreams to fight for..

Go for it. Sharing expenses can make it possible. Great idea for many.
