Purchasing A Home, Step by Step and the Definitions you will encounter. Part 4 ...... The Search

          If you've been with this since the beginning we have already discussed your credit, the broker and the pre-approval letter.

                               Today we look at the search what we do and WHAT YOU DO.

You may ask why what you do is bolder than what we do. Well we need your help to help you search for your new home.

                                                        What you do.

 

 Tell us what style of home you would like, how many bedrooms and baths you need. Open floor plan or not. A yard for the kids or a larger one for the horse.

 A place for your mother in-law when she comes to stay? Which reminds me do you need a shed. Only kidding.

You see we will ask all sorts of questions to help the process go easier. If at anytime you decide to change what the idea of your dream house is let us know...........as soon as possible. This way we won't show you anything you don't want to.

We do not want to be looking for banana's         

                                                         to find out you want an orange

 

If your out driving around and see a home that you would love to see call us. We will make the appointment and meet you there. This usually requires 24 hour notice. Do not plan on calling and seeing right then and there lol  

 

Don't laugh some people thinks that's how it works.it doesn't. 

 

 

                                                            What we do

We are going to take your information and enter it into the property search to see what we can find that matches your search.

We are going to make calls to other brokers, we will contact clients that may or may not be interested in selling their property that matches your search.

                     Send you emails when properties that match your search are found.

 

Set up appointments to view the property. Meet you at the property so we can see what we like and don't about the property.

Run a search on other properties that either sold or on the market with in a few miles of the home your looking at to see how it compares in the event you luv it.

 

 In part 5 we will look at MAKING AN OFFER      

                                How the broker helps you when making an offer and things to consider.
