OK- YOU THINK YOU'RE INTO TECH - I'LL DUMB IT DOWN FOR YOU

Over the past several days, I've blogged about what I thought was the coolest device I've seen in years.  It's simple - a double electrical outlet with two USB 3.0 charges attached on the side.  Here's the follow-up post I put on someone's website who actually appreciated the concept. It's this:

Alright - I've been skimming through my comments, etc. regarding this gizmo.  (This was directed to one of the people who found the outlets worthwhile)  First, thanks for re-posting.  Second, I thought it would be greeted with a WOW by a lot of readers.  Is it that I'm too nerdy of that people really wouldn't spend a few extra bucks to buy it?  If I was on a trip and forgot my charger, I'd pay a minimum of $20 for a charger from Radio Shack or Best Buy, or whatever was available.  Now, a product comes on the market, made in the good old US of A, and really does is amazing (to me.)  What's the story.  I even told the people I spoke to on the phone at the company when my order didn't go through on the computer.  I told the woman I loved the product so much I'd blog about it on a website with over 200,000 members.  She was so happy to hear nice comments that she said, "If you blog about us, tell anyone who wants to buy one or more that they'll get a nice discount if they write Realtor (case sensitive) in the note section.  She actually called me back later in the day and said she I had made her day.  She told me she did this every day, their company was doing well, but it made her feel great that someone was so excited about a product.  So, it sounded nice and Realtors, Appraisers, Home Inspectors, and everyone else in this industry are more likely than not to have USB charged devices, whether they are smart phones or room measuring devices, or, well, I could rattle off 1,000 devices that are charged via USB.  And, the device being sold is USB 3.0 which is the newest, highest amperage and highest wattage available to a consumer today (for USB devices).

Some people have said that they wouldn't buy because it didn't fit the standards of an I-Phone.  However, speaking with customer service they gave me a 100% guarantee that not only would it charge any apple USB product, but with speed and without causing harm to the device.  Actually, this is the first device this company has created that isn't strictly for Apple products. The name of the company is based on Apple and they create only app add-ons.  Do you think they would make a USB that coldn't charge an Apple device?

SO, IF PEOPLE WON'T APPRECIATE THE TECH I DO, MAYBE I'LL SWITCH IT TO MUSIC TECH  - THESE SPEAKERS ROCK, AND CAN FIT IN YOU POCKET!!!

I JUST TOOK OUT A PHOTO OF TWEAKERS.  I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE THE RIGHT TO COPY THAT PHOTO.  HOWEVER, I WAS GIVEN THE EXPRESS CONSENT OF THE PEOPLE FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET COMPANY TO ADD IT TO MY BLOG.

being a true geek, I should have written my blog about Tweekers.  They are the coolest stereo speakers ever created.  The fit in a tiny pouch, the size of a 6 oz. can of soda.  When you take them out, they separate (they're magnetically connected at the bottom before they separate), and they connect to one-another via USB and plug directly into the headphone part of any cell phone or other device with an out-line.  I bought those on EBAY, so let me see if I can find a photo -by the way, before I post the photo - they crank.  You unscrew the tops by 1/2 inch (look at the Tweeker on the left - compare it to the one on the right - yes, they can both unscre) to make to make them pop up and add to the base and treble.  I attach them to my Android every morning while I either listen to Pandora or sing "Me and Bobby McGee" as loud as I can to a track saved on my phone.  Yes, it's true.  I'm sure you also have embarassing facts about yourselves that you wouldn't want revealed, but I am proud I sink Me & Bobby McGee.  I've been consistent for over  20 years, and I know for sure my kids all hate it, so it's great.

YES, THEY ROCK and even add pizazz to laptops.  Buy them - they're (I think) a little lests than $30 for the pair).  It's more than the electrical outlets, but mabye a tad bit less nerdy.  Who knows?

If you buy the outlets, don't forget to put "Realtor" in the note field.  If you don't get a discount - call the company.

As for tweakers or tweekers (I'm not sure how they're spelled), here's a few sites:

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=tweakers+portable+mini+speakers

Sorry - I don't have discount codes for them.  But, again, they do crank.

Have fun.  I enjoy things like stereo speakers, electrical outlets with USB 3.0 connectors, and beer.  All good!

Wow, thanks Wayne.  I don't know what happened there, but it looked pretty bad.  It looks like I tried to delete the phoe of the Tweakersm, but that the html was never removed?  I have no idea.  I really appreciate your coomment.  The funny thing is, I made my title "I'll dumb it down for you."  Looks like I shoudl have dumbed it down for myself!

Thanks again,

David
