Technology Site Flouts the Fallout

Real Estate Agent with Future Home Realty
Next Best thing Very interesting timing on the heels of my earlier post this week on the Real Estate Technology sector. Today Inman news posts an article about yet another newbie to the scene that is basically an add on application to users of the venerable Social Networking Site Face-book. The new creator of this applications comments on Inman News “I know some real estate agents are struggling to get their houses sold.” He said the application is intended to help call attention to homes and may lead to quicker sales. “I think it’s going to be a strong application for Realtors. They can go in and list their inventories there and share those with other Realtors as well.”

Well folks don’t forget you heard it here first. I predict this will be one of the quickest flubs in the the Real Estate Technology Sector. Don’t get me wrong they have lofty aims but they are entering into a market not yet bottomed out and on top of that, unless they seriously re-tool the the way the listings get posted…it’s way too much work for the fee. What advantage does a Realtor get for this $29.99 fee that they can’t get elsewhere ? I can name half a dozen applications or more that will-achieve near the same thing that these guys claim they may be able to do. Don’t forget to read between the lines in the comments. may Lead to quicker sales , I think it’s going to be”. Based on my experience in the technology sector this is pure hyperbole on their part. But if your interested follow the link to their site and spend your time and money and then come back here and post a comment and let our reader here in the Greater Tampa bay Area know how many homes you sold using this ? Inquiring minds would like to know if this beats sliced bread as the next best thing for the industry!
