There are a couple of interesting things going on today…
At 5:30 this evening, the library is hosting the First Tuesday Book Club. Tonight they will discuss In the Bleak Midwinter by Julia Spencer Fleming. The club is open to anyone who is interested. For more information, call Melissa at 256-764-6564, ext. 12.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT, A Going Away Party for Crime, will be at Fairground Park, corner of Fairground Rd. & Chisholm, from 6-9pm. There will be food and games and it is free to the public, sponsored by Target and the Florence Police Dept. To register, call V. Gillette at 256-768-1342.
At Edgemont Methodist, The B.L.E.S.S.E.D ladies group will be hosting a “We Clip To Save” coupon class (and fundraiser) at 6:00 p.m. in the Real World Sunday School classroom. If the sight of your grocery bill has got you down, then this is the class for you! You will learn everything you need to know about being coupon organized, coupon lingo, and where/how to get the most for your money. The class won’t end until all your couponing questions have been answered! Class cost is only $15 per person and will include light refreshments and coupons, of course! Please see Becky Jamieson, Liz Sikes, Laura Updike or Jay Davis to reserve your spot in class.
