Wordless Wednesday: Summer Blooms

By
Real Estate Agent with RLAH@properties AB95346

I took this photo when I was at Monticello in the beautiful gardens there.  I loved the colors, especially the blueish purple-ish colors.  Monticello is Thomas Jefferson's home near Williamsburg, Virginia.  The home and the gardens are just beautiful, and full of opportunities to test your camera, be it a fancy one or an I-Phone.  I took this with a sort of fancy one.

Very pretty photo.  I can remember taking my son here many years back when I was homeschooling.  It was a field trip!  A LONG field trip!

Pat, i was in my teens when i went to Monticello and it would be a great re-visit...the blue flowers are blue delphiniums and are one of my favorite flower.  Unfortunately, my local ground varmints enjoy them too and they never last at my house!  thanks for sharing

I love Monticello and have been many times.  Mr. Jefferson was so, so far ahead of his time.

Gorgeous flowers.  I would love to revisit Monticello.  Haven't been to that lovely part of the world in 30 years. Pathetic, considering how close it is to DC.

Beautiful...........reminds me of my flower garden in Germany years ago! Most of those flowers just don't do well down here in this heat.

It's so hot and dry here! We are rationed on water so most of the flowers are dying. Those are a sight for sore eyes!!

Pat - Simply beautiful! I think you know how much we love flowers. This is a very pretty mix. Nice shot. It certainly has been a great year for flowers this year on the east coast.

I would love to visit the east coast one day and tour all the old homes, especially homes like Tomas Jefferson's home.
