East Tennessee, a great place to be

By

From the eastern foothills of the Smoky Mountains to the Cumberland Plateau, East Tennessee is a wealth of natural wonders with all the forests, wetlands, cedar glades, creeks, rivers, lakes, mountains, caves, and waterfalls to choose from. The state's 54 state parks have recently received a National Gold Medal Award for Excellence. Where to begin?

If you start at the eastern border of North Carolina, you're at or near Smoky Mountain National Park at Gatlinburg, Tennessee's most popular park destination. At the main entrance to the park, the city of Ober Gatlinburg has evolved to become one of the top vacation destinations in the country! Area attractions such as Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the Knoxville Zoo are sure to keep the family busy any time of the year.

When traveling through the area, bring your camera and be sure to take a few back roads to enjoy the mountain, lakes, and idyllic rural scenery - Tennessee at it's best. Everywhere you go, beautiful East Tennessee offers mild weather and true southern hospitality.

Grainger County's lakefront, forest, meadow, and mountain view homes and land are the perfect retreat. We've got a wide variety of types of properties available: oversized farmland plots, golf, planned, retirement, and gated communities... We have farms, cities, suburbs, anything from small starter homes to nouveau mansions. Here you can live in the country and yet be minutes from the city. Blaine in particular, has several new housing developments right down the road from our office. Many small, rural communities like Blaine are evolving to become bedroom communities for the larger cities. We enjoy the low crime and low taxes, great schools, churches, communities and neighbors found in the countryside yet can be at the Smoky Mountains, at a UT game, or even at the Bristol Motor Speedway in no time at all. Unspoiled forests, lakes, and streams are perfect for bike riding, hiking, fishing, hunting, or horseback riding.

According to statistics, people who move to Blaine, TN tend to settle in and stay for good. Must be doing something right! The good life just seems to get better all the time.

I love your area.  If I were ever going to leave Key West it would be to head your way.  It is just beautiful.  Key West is great too but I still love your mountains.
