Staging-Not Only For Larger Homes

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Platinum Home Designs

It is a misconception that I come across all too often.

  Some people still believe that only larger or more expensive homes should be staged.

This simply is not true.

A staged home shows to sell quicker and for more money. Size doesn't matter.

Here is an example of the impact of staging a vacant;

                                                                      AFTER

Julia, I have to say that I totally agree with you that smaller homes are in just as much need as larger ones for stagging. (Sometimes even more so.) I am looking forward to seeing the after pictures.

Julia, you are so correct.  Staging gives the seller a definite upper hand on the competition, no matter the size of the home.  i also look forward to the after pics of this home.

Julia: we were hired today to stage a 650 sq ft condo. We can't wait to work on it! We will post pictures too. Its not the size of the space-it is the needs of the property.

Julia ~ Looking forward to seeing what you've done with this small room.  Although, sometimes a smaller room is easier for people to visualize; large rooms can be overwhelming to some people.

Totally agree! We tell realtors all the time, it doesn't matter the size or the cost of the home, if it's going on the market it can benefit from staging.

I think it was key to demonstrate adequate seating and function in the rooms.

Hope you like the after!

Very nice - no longer looks small, just cozy.  I have those stars, too.

Any property would benefit from staging, I believe. It just gives the empty space a meaning:)
