Ahhh...my psychic intuition says that you have an alternate career in picture post cards !
Hi Andrew, Your photos are just gorgeous, we are heading to southern Maine today, wish I was going the rest of the way to your neck of the woods or Deer Isle our family home...Enjoy the weekend.
Andy, as true to form that moose is telling me don't tread on me...great pics to entice a buyer of homes into your wonderful state of Maine!
S and D ... You don't have be shutter black belt when the subject matter, the back drop is this gorgeous all around you. The Maine moose is pretty photogenic, at ease in front of the camera too. Eating under water the vegetation around him as he got closer, closer and right beside the brownie hawkeye.
What a fantastic place to rev up the old Real Estate engines. Your pictures are fabulous!
Rene ... There is so much of Maine to enjoy. The big thing is you are crossing the line with the blue sign that says "Maine, the way life should be." That is the important thing and have fun, enjoy yourself and sample a lobster, some steamed clams. Yum.
Ginny ... Mister Moose cared little he was being photographed and was out in the lake intially swimming, then diving to eat vegetation and eventually working his way closer to say Howdy.
Cindy .... Get away from the real estate office flourescents, the hum of the photo copier and fax machine and as one caller yesterday said when I asked for her email .... "I don't have one of those typewriters with a television on top". You can think better about the real estate operation far from it..like Maine. We'll add you to the agent, broker caravan and the bus will be at your office in ten minutes. Get ready. Bring some sun screen, some of that killer potato salad you whip up for the crew of happy campers.
Andrew--some absolutely phenomenal pics--nice post and great information! Maine is beautiful.
Good morning, Andy.....I stop by your blog everyday....love looking at the photos....real estate, people, animals, all of it.....my son and daughter in law are at Sebago Lake for the weekend....
Ilan ... some times you need to leave the real estate office four walls behind and high tail it to a place where no distractions except the natural kind.
Andrew - wonderful photos of Moose and the beaufiul state of Maine! I've seen them in person and they are huge!
If this is your backyard, I just had a thought. Where do you go for vacation? Where do you go to relax?
Cal
Oh wow, so much fun! Now this looks like a trip that is right up my alley!
Andrew-The moose is really a commanding presence. He seems to be saying in his demeanor, "Don't mess with the Moose."
Andrew, you're making me homesick for Maine! Ya gotta love that Moose and Respect him too!
Cal ... With everything from Mt Katahdin to Allagash Wilderness Waterways, the coast of Maine's lighthouse collection and rivers to white water raft, 2500 lakes, the fun usually involves water. We travel in the winter to ski. Have youngest in Colorado and that is one neat place to swish swish swish.
Chris .... Everyone needs a little "Va Ca", time away from the same scenery, hometown.
Wayne... He has a distinct weight advantage when you study the tale of the tapes as the ground pounders of the Marshall Arts say.
Patricia ... This moose is in his natural home...he shares it with us and we have to respect him, protect him. Just don't want to meet him late at night at 55 mph. Those are not fun encounters, meetings and he is way way too big to be a hood ornament on a Jeep Cherokee.
