Motivational Power Quote

I Feel the Whole World is Against Me

“Sometimes I get the feeling that

the whole world is against me,

but deep down I know that is not true.

Some of the smaller countries are neutral.”

Robert Orben, American entertainer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

I feel the whole world is against me.

It’s doesn’t matter if the world is against you or for you, what important is making your own way.

What matters is to know where you want to go and what you’re going to do to succeed, not what you feel other people think about you.

Quite frankly people are not thinking about you. They are too busy with their personal concerns and worrying about themselves to be thinking or worrying about you.

If you feel the whole world is against you, you’re harboring a negative attitude. And that attitude is restricting your personal growth and creating and internal barrier to succeeding.

You attitude belongs to you and you own it. What you do with your attitude is your choice. You can keep your attitude polished to reflect a positive outlook on life and approach your life from a positive viewpoint of your glass is half full or you can see your glass as half empty.

Your attitude becomes a success drive your pick the direction.

Success is your responsibility. The choices that you make are your responsibility and yours alone. Choose the pathway to success.

You don’t need to have the world on your side to succeed. What you need is to have a plan, goals and to take the actions to succeed.

Be proactive and keep moving in the direction of success.

Focus on what’s requires for you to succeed; and take the actions necessary for you to succeed.

Drop the attitude of I feel the world is against me and replace it with the attitude of if it’s going to be it up to me.

When your attitude is right you won’t have the time to think how the feels about you.

Just followed a California blog post about how frustrated another agent was making her and I thought, sweetheart, you are taking this back and forth real estate ping pong way way to personally. Just relax, hang loose but don't lose sight of the final destination, the real estate closing. No one else (99.9% of the tiime) is your identical twin to think, move, act, feel the exact same way you do. Let them be different, learn from others rather than try to retrain them to be like you.

Usually when I get the woe is me mentality, I know it's time to take a break Lou.  We all need a positive attitude to do our jobs effectively.

Perhaps the reminder I needed to brush it off.  I don't recall ever thinking the whole world is against me... but sometimes little clusters of it. LOL

Great reminder of how we control our own attitude. I often write out affirmations to remind myself of the possitives as I begin and end each day. This was a good nudge for me this am to keep up with that and continue to motivate myself (instead of expecting others to motivate me..though you did today!). Thanks!
