JoAnn - sounds like fun!  I love to ride bikes and riding through the Amish country would be glorious - thanks for the post!

This sounds like a fun event through Amish country and ending up at the schoolhouse. Nice localism post, JoAnn.

JoAnn,  western PA has a sizeable number of Amish living here, but nothing like this.  We see their buggies in the more rural areas not in the urban areas.

Enjoy the weekend.

I did Bike to the Bay for MS last year.  Ended up being the last one over the finish line, but I didn't quit.  Through lack of proper training, cramps, soreness, bad knees, etc... I trudged on and still completed as others would drop out at the different rest stops...

I had signed up last year for the Amish Country Bike Tour, but was unable to make it as we ended up having to go out of town.  I will be signing up again this year, I think it would be a good ride to take prior to the Bike to the Bay....
