Balboa Island Market Update August
Balboa Island, my favorite spot in Newport Beach is probably one of the more desirable areas to live if you love the ocean, sunshine, and people. Balboa Island is a man made Island that consist of 3 smaller islands. Little Island, Main Island, and Collins Island which is the smallest. There are 2 ways to get on the Island, one is to drive over the 2 lane bridge on Bayside Drive. The other is by ferry. You can take the ferry on the Peninsula and it will drop you off on Balboa Island. You can drive your car, bike or walk on the ferry. Yes there is a fee, check Balboa Ferry Rates here.
If you walk around Balboa Island its 2.75 miles! All day long you will find joggers, walkers, and lots of cute dogs on the boardwalk. You can also walk to Marine Avenue and find cute boutiques, restaurants, Hershey's Market, and of course Starbucks!!!
Now that my new office Abrams Coastal Properties is on the Island I get to enjoy all of this everyday.
As of today, there are :
