Wells Fargo will partner with Freddie Mac and a local HUD-approved housing counseling agency to offer two consumer homebuyer workshops followed by three affordable home tours (aka "parade of homes"). Classes targeting up to 75 potential home buyers (per workshop) will be held on both the North and South sides of Metro Atlanta on Saturday, August 27, followed by three self-guided tours of homes (DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett Counties) of up to eight properties each. Wells Fargo mortgage be available to pre-qualify those in attendance.
The event will be promoted through various outlets, including
• Cable TV,
• Social media,
• the Wells Fargo website
Tour guides will also be distributed at all of the workshops and uploaded to the internet about ten days before the event.
Eligible properties must be
• Within seven miles of the class venue (except Dekalb, contact Wells Fargo)
• Priced below $175K
• May not be bank nor GSE-owned
County-specific guidelines may also apply.

• Homes will be open simultaneously in Gwinnett, DeKalb and Atlanta/Fulton
• Up to eight properties per tour in Gwinnett, DeKalb and Fulton Counties
Real Estate Agent Participation Urged
Real estate agents may bring their existing clients and potential homebuyers to the workshop. In addition, qualifying properties may be submitted to Wells Fargo for inclusion by August 11 at an ad fee of $60 per property. Properties must be staffed during the tour hours of 12:00 Noon until 3 PM and have an affordable home tour sign posted at the property during the week prior to August 27.
