Storm Last Night

Fort Dorchester High School, North Charleston, South Carolina

Black sky, scary clouds, and BAM - the lightning shall come!

The storm that hit Charleston last night came quickly, pounded hard, and then hit the road.

Facebook makes storms even more interesting as you see your friends post what it's like at their home.  Knowing who just lost power or who is watching their garage can roll down the street keeps us connected like never before.

Laura, This is a spooky picture. I can just hear the thunder when I look at this picture. Hope you were somewhere safe and sound when all this was going on.

We are finally getting some rain here and some cooler temperatures. Saw a few lightning bolts last night myself.

Laura - What a chilling photo!  I'm a huge tennis player, but I sure wouldn't want to play a game in that weather!

Laura, great photo!  I love storms since we rarely have them here in the desert in New Mexico.

Laura, you are a brave soul to take pictures in the storm!  We've had thunder and lightning all day yesterday as well but I stayed in.

Laura,  That looks like some crazy lightning.  One town north of me got golf ball and baseball sized hail last night.

Wow that lightening bolt looks powerful!  I remember the ones in the midwest that would just jolt you out of bed!
