Little kids love stuffed animals. They are always pointing out some new one at Toys R Us that they really really have to have and will become a new present for them under the Christmas tree or a new birthday present. What about when they grow up? Sure, they may keep them through out the years, but what about when it’s time to go off to college? Or they outgrow them? What are you supposed to do? Don’t just throw them out or drop them off to the closest Salvation Army. Some Goodwill stores don’t even take stuffed animals or toys anymore.
You can donate them to Stuffed Animals for Emergencies. They don’t have a center, but they have chapters through out the entire United States. There are many ways you can help out by: donating, holding a fundraiser, or becoming a chapter member. If you are a firefighter or doctor and you feel like you could use some of the stuffed animals they receive, check out the website as well and get in touch with someone who can make that happen! All the information you need is on their website :
www.stuffedanimalsforemergencies.org .
Check it out and see how you can help children in need with a local fundraiser or just donating your own items.
