Palm Beach County School District- Your 2011 School Calendar and More!

It's still in the 90's and we haven't had a hurricane yet, so that must mean that the start of the 2011 school year for Palm Beach County is starting. Here is a printable calendar that you can get in English, Creole, Portuguese or Spanish.

Some important dates you'll want to know:

September 5-Labor Day
September 29- Holiday
November 23,24,25- Thanksgiving Holiday
December 23- January 8th- Winter Break
January 16- MLK's birthday
March 17th-25th- Spring Break
April 6- Spring Holiday
May 28- Memorial Day
June 7th- Last Day of School

There are other holidays, and Teacher in-Service Days, but this should get you started! school bus

Gita- Hello... I actually saw a school bus this morning outside one of our communities.

BARFF- me too... remember going to the store and getting everything on the list... and of course you had to have a brand new box of crayons.

Roy- Thank you for the flower and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the fall.

Barbara- I hope so... we also have the "season" which begins when the snowbirds return. The service industry (restaurants) really feel it in the summer.

Steve- I know... not for long! And then the snowbirds will return.

Gary- they've already started??? OMG that seems so early.

Marco- I'm used to school districts being within a city but ours is the whole county.
