Center of Influence or Sphere ... anyway you call it is the people you know ... now I have read some great blogs from bloggers such as Jennifer Allan who encourages agents to make relationship with those they know and to be an expert of the areas you work.
Simple philosophy to work your business.
Contact your sphere and be an expert. As an expert your sphere will refer you out to their sphere ... because everyone wants to refer someone to somebody ... it makes the referrer the HERO
