Is there something you do each day the same way? Why?

Looks like I take the same way to work each day... and the same way home... I can deviate and change this up to be more versatile.
Aww, I love J. Philip's answer :-) Mine is boring...COFFEE first thing in the morning. Can't function without it. And I catch up on emails, go through the MLS hot sheet, start AR-ing, etc while I'm slowly sipping it down.
Nothing like waking up to a good cup of Joe at 5am cherish quiet time and reading. Eventually working my way through emails, MLS Hot Sheet and seeing what is new on AR and FB. Early morning stroll happens occasionally. The rest of the day is what it is and hopefully it is busy. All the best to each of you for we all work very hard, making time for yourself is so important.
Coffee - Fresh Ground "Blue Mountain!"
Walking the dogs for morning exercise.
Have a great Year!
I'm just not that consistent and love that every day is different. If I came close to doing something daily, it would be reading at night.
15 minutes on the Canadian Air Force exercise program. I'm a USArmy guy myself, but the put out a good book.
My daily pleasure is playing with my little newborn Tyler. He is my pride and joy. I never thought being a parent would be this great.
Up at 4:30, off to the gym, back home at 7:00, then do back exercises. Then come one of my husband's breakfasts - he is an outstandng breakfast cook Everything is made from "scratch" - no mixes in our house
At the end of the day, I clear my "mind chatter" with a few games of sudoku.
I too love J. Phillips answer - he has VERY fortunate children.
As for me, one of my daily pleasures is talking on the phone with my younger son in the evening - but it doesn't have a set time. Another is catching a call from my "old kid" when he happens to have a little free time.
How funny. I was just thinking about how I do exactly the same thing, in the same order every day before 8 am. I guess a habit keeps things simple and creates less stress in your life!
1. Freshly squeezed OJ,
2. freshly ground coffee,
3. breakfast whatever,
4. ESPN Sportscenter,
5. Active Rain,
6. MLS hot sheet,
7. Facebook
8. Practice (music)
#s 1, 2 and 4, have been like groundhog day for the last 15 years, 5 and 6 again groundhog day since I became a Realtor®. #7 trying to cut back and #8 is sacred for when we must rehearse or when my creative juices are flowing.
To be of use at all times. It's like a moth to a flame but I just can't help it.
AR is probably the most consistent thing in my life. When I went on vacation it killed me to miss two days (out of cell and internet range) when I could not do my comments.
Coffee and AR are my first items on the agenda every morning! During each day I also spend some time with Darby O'Gill who is almost 16 and having trouble with his back .... he's such a good brave boy
Sipping my coffee on the couch in our screened-in porch watching the sun come up with my dogs by my side! It's so peaceful and helps me get centered for the day ahead of me.
I'm so jealous of you guys and your routines...so comforting. My life is such a chaotic mess at the moment I don't do anything the same from one day to the next. Get up, try to dash off a list of must do today or elses, try to squeeze in some exercise at some point along the way, then let the chips fall where they may. Sometimes I think I would get a lot more done if I were better organized. <sigh>
My day starts between 6am and 6:30 - exercise routine, shower, dress - by then Ronnie has my pot of tea waiting for me and while I have my first cup and go upstairs to ActiveRain and the laptop he starts breakfast. After breakfast and the dishes I return to my laptop and AR. The same routine every morning.
There are certain shows that I like to watch if I'm working out of my home office. Playing with my two dogs, that is some of the best stuff in the world.
OK, this is fun...
For me, it's pretty much the same every day:
1. Fire up the computer
2. Make coffee
3. Drink coffee and answer all the emails that came in while sleeping
4. See what my buddies on ActiveRain have been up to and post my blog for the day
5. Work, market my properties/ self, Photoshop something...
6. Lather, rinse, repeat!
First thing is say goodbye to my husband at the front door ( me - not so awake as he's a early bird) then I grab a cup of coffee that he's made for me (so sweet & sometimes he leaves me notes!) then I let the kitty out who's meowing up a storm and won't stop till he is 'free'. But I dare not shut the door cause then I'm really in trouble with him. So I leave it open which is totally stupid here in the hot summr phoenix heat. Am I well trained or what!!!!
