The East Hartford CT real estate market was a busy one in July 2011. There were 25 closed sales with a median price of $160,000. This compared favorably to July 2010, which showed 22 closed sales and a median price of $149,000. So the number of sales is up and so is the median price.

It has also been fairly steady for the past four months. Here's how July compared to June, May, and April:
- July: 25 closed sales, median price $160,000
- June: 23 closed sales, median price $145,000
- May: 25 closed sales, median price $152,000
- April: 23 closed sales, median price $162,000
But perhaps the most exciting news is that there are 38 homes under contract and 44 homes under deposit for a total of 82 homes! With these numbers, East Hartford should continue its momentum over the next few months.
