The number of homes for sale edged up from last month but the 8.6 months of inventory is down 14.6% from July 2010.

July 2011 Columbus homes for sale was down 11.8% from a year ago, when there were 3041 homes on the market.  Columbus home sales were up 3.3% from last year. 

Columbus home prices

  • Average active price - $123,000
  • Average sale price - $97,000
  • Median sale price- $77,000


The average active price is identical to the average active price a year ago.  The average sale price for the school district om July was up 9% from last July. 

The median sale price for the area is up 35.1% from a year ago.

On average homes in Columbus schools sold within 94% of their last list price in July 2011.

The Columbus City School District is huge. Columbus schools is spread out all over Franklin County. Beyond?

Franklin County and beyond.

"Wow.  You really do your homework.  You provided a lot of great information here that shows how good Westerville's home market is reallying doing.  Go Westerville!!  I grew up there and I love to see the town do well."

Along with a url for their Columbus real estate business. Must have come in through the Westerville post a couple of days later.... and decided their spam would be better on a Columbus, Ohio residential real estate post than a Westerville Ohio real estate post.
