Frank and Karen, Fantastic shot of the beach to illustrate your point! While I love looking at shells, stepping on sharp shell shards is certainly NOT fun!

Good morning Frank and Karen;  I was going to challenge you on the beach thing, but after reading your post, I must concede.  But my beach at Great Kills comes in close as #2.

Now you are making me come down for a visit.

Ken ~ Hmm, not too sure Great Kills Beach comes in close to Sunset Beach, you might have to visit to be sure!!

Bliz ~ We love the fact that the beach is more about the sand and not the shells, although if you decide to walk towards the north on the beach you will find shells on the north end of the beach!!

Barbara ~ Cape Cod beaches are absolutely beautiful too!!

Melissa ~ Come for a long weekend ~ we have the noodles, bogey boards, chairs, umbrellas and WRAPS!!

Tim ~ Thanks, localism is a must!! We want everyone to know about the area and why it is so special ~
