My 26 month journey to the 500,000 point mark has been a career changing experience. I have learned how to blog and have been taught how to do it in a productive lead generating manner. I have learned about Social Media and how to incorporate it into my lead generation activities. I have been able to almost move completely away from print media when presenting my Marketing Plan to consumer sellers. I have experienced the sage advice of numerous Active Rain members through out the country.
I attended 2 Raincamps(D.C. and Philly) and heard Bob and Ben explain how to maximize your Rainmaker status to promote both your business and listing inventory. They taught how to enhance your blog articles using key words, helping you gain Google ranking. They encouraged us to become the Mayor of somewhere and showed how to dominate using Localism. The Raincamp networking opportunities were second to none . I have been receiving calls from consumers who are reading blog posts that are more than 12 months old. I can't imagine where I would be if I hadn't signed on Active Rain 26 months ago !!!
The best is yet to come as I have a lot more work to do in my Localism blog posts. I want to get myself disciplined to writing a daily blog article in addition to commenting on 10 daily posts. I want to explore and learn more lead generating activities where I can add my blog links and website to drive more local consumers to seek out my services. I want to continue implementing Active Rain into all of the Real Estate courses I teach and increase my invited members to over 350 ! And I want to continue dialogging with AR members all around the country to learn what's working in their market to accelerate my learning curve.
