Enjoy Hudson Old Home Days which continues on August 13 and 14. It is being held on the grounds of the Hills House located on Route 102 across from Alvirne High School.
This is a fun-filled event for the entire family. There will be a carnival, food, games,music and exhibits and much much more for the entire family. Enjoy the fireworks on Saturday night at 9:30.!
A BIT OF HISTORY: The ALVIRNE Hills House is the current home of the Hudson Historical Society. ALVIRNE is the former Summer Home of Dr. Alfred K. Hills and his family. The home was built in 1890 by Dr. Hills for his wife. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit the Hudson Historical Website to see photos of the Alvirne Hills House now and in its past.
The Hudson Historical Society provides a history of the Town of Hudson through maps. For a small fee of $2.00, you can tour the Hills House.
