I was a dairy farmer for 7 years near Green Bay, WI and let me tell you, they will JUMP down the stairs, (2 or 3) but they won't walk them! We had a few younger stock we had to rotate every now and then, and we built a ramp for them to go down to get from one area of the barn to the milking parlour, but oh...what a challenge. :)
