IN-N-OUT...not so easy to get in and out in Texas.

IN-N-OUT Burger has come to Texas.  I’ve yet to try it myself but in the next couple of months a restaurant will be opening in my town here in Arlington, TX.

in-n-out

There are several around me that have opened already but I have no problem being patient.  So this brings me to my question.  When our hometown location opens, do I join all the other crazies and wait in the lines for hours only after battling the police directed traffic, just for another burger.  Is it just another burger?  It seems like any new place that receives all the hype is indeed just another burger for the most part.  Knowing me, I will be perfectly content with waiting a couple of months, or whatever it takes, so I can drive into the parking lot, park, walk directly into the restaurant, order, sit down and eat my fair to slightly better than fair burger.

People are nuts over these restaurants opening around here.  Is it all hype or is there really something to this place?

My boys just love In/Out Burger and when we go someplace that has one we have to stop. You know I have never even had one just a bite from my kids and they are good. I am with you about not waiting in line!

Well the In and Out Burger here has been open for 13+years and people still wait in line. At lunch time there is a long line of cars. I have only gone their twice, did not wait in line in my car, instead, parked the car and went up to the counter to order. So much quicker.

I gotta tell ya, I wasn't impressed with IN-n-out in CA, so I doubt I would wait in a ridiculous line that I heard about happened.

I happened to drive by an IN-N-OUT in Ft. Worth today as I was going to check out an awesome new ice cream joint, and the line of cars and people at IN-N-OUT was insane!  Looks like I may have to wait 6 months after our IN-N-OUT opens here in Arlington.
